Welcome to the Frederick Community College Volleyball Camp, where we’re bringing you four fantastic opportunities to improve your game! This isn’t your average camp; we’ve tailored each session for Grades 7-12 with a special session for middle schoolers grades 6-8. I’m Donyelle Scurry, the head women’s volleyball coach for the Frederick Community College Cougars, and I can’t wait to meet each of you. My goal is to ensure that every camper leaves with improved skills, a better understanding of the game, and, most importantly, a smile on their face.
What you will get with each session: Collegiate-level coaching and specialized training to understand the technical AND tactical facets of the skills being taught and refined. We focus on not just the “hows” but the “whys” of the game to increase Volleyball IQ, a skill often overlooked but can be the difference between being just another number on the roster and being a key player on the court at any level.
Remember, it’s not just about volleyball; it’s about making friends, learning teamwork, and having fun while playing the sport we all love. So grab your gear and join us for this exciting volleyball adventure at Frederick Community College. I can’t wait to see you there!
Parents, you are welcome to stay and watch, but bring your own chairs, and you’ll be limited to sitting in a designated area.
