Texas Baseball Resource
Growing up in Austin Texas, Ryan played varsity baseball at McCallum High School and later attended Navarro College as a member of the baseball program under then head coach Skip Johnson.
Once his playing career ended he attended TCU and served for a short time as a strength and conditioning intern with the football program. After graduating from TCU he moved back to Austin to serve as a strength and conditioning coach with the University of Texas football, baseball and softball programs from 2012-2015. He had the privilege to work and learn under coaching greats Mac Brown, Augie Garrido and Skip Johnson during his time at Texas. Dillon Peters, former player at University of Texas and current MLB pitcher, says “Ryan really made 2 years of college strength and conditioning better. He related with us as players and kept us focused when necessary. He helped a lot of guys establish routines that never had routines.”
Ryan is committed to lifelong personal growth and education around the game of baseball and to having a positive impact on the lives of the people he works with. Texas Baseball Resource is a reflection of what he and many other former players wish they had access to while playing in high school and college.
