Play’n Sports Fees

Play’n Sports has 2 fee structures. Convenience Fee and Listing Fee – in order for Play’n Sports to cover certain cost of services for marketing, advertising, customer support and credit card transactions, we charge a service fee when a registration is completed.

1: Convenience fee: This fee is passed on to the parent or player registering for an event.

· This fee is calculated from the event subtotal (event cost & add ons) – the fee collected at checkout is 6% + 79cents.

2: Listing fee: This fee is deducted from the event payout. The fee collected is 1 registration as long as you get 2 registrations. Example, you collect the first registration, we collect the second registration, and you collect the rest. The small fee that we do collect is only collected when the Payout is triggered. There is no downside to using Play’n Sports!

Example: If you’re charging $50 for an event and and you get 100 players to register, your registration total will be $5,000. One registration fee ($50) is subtracted out of the total payout. The rest of the funds ($4,950) from registrations goes into your account.

Capped at $500: We have also implemented a $500 max on how much is subtracted from your total payout. This means if you create your event and list it for $999, all that is subtracted from your total payout is $500.

3: Free listing: Anything that is listed as FREE on Play’n Sports will not require a service fee. We will not collect a service fee from the parent or a post fee for free events that are created.
