Camp Overview:
The Lexington Flying Pigs are dedicated to providing a fun, educational, and engaging environment where campers can develop their baseball and softball skills, make new friends, and create lasting memories. Our camp is designed for boys and girls, ages 5-12, and is structured to accommodate beginners as well as advanced players.
Location:
Holt-Moffitt was constructed in 1938 and served as the off-and-on home of Lexington baseball teams in various minor leagues until 1967, when the Lexington Giants of the Western Carolinas League departed after four seasons.
Camp Features:
Coaching Staff: Our coaching staff will include college players and interns who are passionate about teaching the game of baseball and softball. They focus on improving each camper’s technique, strategy, and understanding of the game.
Skill Development: Campers will participate in daily drills and exercises designed to enhance their batting, pitching, fielding, and base-running skills. Personalized feedback and instruction ensure that every player makes significant progress.
Game Play: In addition to skill-building activities, campers will engage in friendly games and scrimmages. These sessions provide practical experience and teach valuable lessons in teamwork, sportsmanship, and competitive play.
