Middle School All Star Camp – July 24th & 25th

8:30 am - 2:00 pm

Carolina Baseball Camps are open to any and every one, limited only by age and number. Camp numbers are limited to ensure the camp experience as well as provide quality instruction based on camper to coach ratio.

These camps are designed for the Middle School player making the jump to high school baseball and will teach the basic fundamentals of hitting, throwing, infield/ outfield play, pitching and catching. Games (some simulated) are also played. Session 1 begins Monday from 8:30am-2:00pm and ends Wednesday from 9:00am-2:00pm. Lunch is not served, campers are asked to bring their own lunch all three days. Session 2 begins Monday July 24th from 8:30am-2:00pm and ends Tuesday July 25th from 9:00am-2:00pm. Lunch will not be served during Session 2, campers are asked to bring their own lunch both days to camp. Limited spaces are available. Campers are responsible for their own lunch, hotel and transportation. Camp is held at beautiful Boshamer Stadium with use of all facilities. Tuition includes all instruction, excess medical insurance, and camp tee shirt. Tuition does not include any other meals, transportation or lodging.

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE
8:30am-9:00pm Registration
9:00am Campers Welcome
9:10am-9:45am Campers break into groups for active stretch, flex and throwing
9:45am-11:30pm Break into Teams for Drill and Station Work
11:30pm-12:00pm Lunch
12:05pm-2:00pm Individual Defensive Work, Position Play and Game Simulations
2:00pm Clean Up Dismissal

Be on time
NO HAZING of any other campers
Campers are NOT permitted to go to Uptown (Franklin Street)
Keep up with your own equipment — We are not responsible!
Helmets MUST be worn when hitting at ALL times
Helmets MUST be worn when feeding pitching machine
Throw ONLY in the outfield or unless otherwise instructed
Coaches will supervise any and all extra work
NO horseplay around stadium
NO use of weight equipment or running machines unless supervised by a staff member
Listen, work, hustle, improve, and have fun

Shorts- they are fine for most sessions
Bats- Please identify NOT REQUIRED
Turf shoes
Catchers gear- Bring your gear if you have a set!

Hats are a must!

Baseball Clothing- baseball pants are needed for games at night
Any medicine you might need (ibuprofen, allergy medicine)
Shorts, T-shirts, underwear, athletic socks, athletic supporter

All of your son’s gear should have his name in permanent marker on them. We have permanent markers at registration for the gear you will receive. We do not recommend that you bring expensive items such as cell phones, radios, jewelry, large amounts of money, watches, laser pointers, etc. Carolina Baseball Camps, Inc. or camp counselors are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please prepare your son to be mindful of his belongings and to report a lost or stolen item at once.

We have an open-door policy regarding watching your child practice and play while at camp. Should you want to arrange an official tour of campus, you will need to contact the Admissions Office at (919)966-3621. Visitors must make their own arrangements for parking.
