Fall 4 Week Skill Development Baseball League w/ Live Games & Pre-Game Practice Every Week w/ LR Players & Coaches
The Lenoir Rhyne Baseball program finished their 2022 season with 40+ wins, went to a regional for the first time in 19 years and won the SAC tournament! With stadium renovations underway we are excited to announce our first ever Fall Development league for players in the area.
This 4 week skill development baseball league is designed for players between 5th and 9th grade looking to improve their skills on the 90 ft diamond. This is an instructional and development league that is coached by both players and coaches from Lenoir Rhyne University. The league will last 4 weeks and will consist of 4 live games on either Tuesday or Thursday. We will have a total of 4 teams which will consist of 40 total participants, 10 players per team. First come, first serve. This is something that will be remembered for years to come as players will experience what it’s like to be a college baseball player at LR!
Players will have an opportunity to play multiple positions!
Each week, players will get to hit on-field batting practice, do a pre-game defensive circuit, and receive live instruction in game while the LR coaching staff throws live in game. Each player will receive a LR Bears performance shirt that will be worn in game.
All instruction will be held at Lenoir Rhyne Universities all turf baseball stadium in Hickory, NC. The LR baseball staff believe’s this age group will benefit tremendously from a development standpoint and will prepare each ball player for middle school ball this spring. This is the perfect league for players looking to work with college coaches and develop as they advance through club, travel and middle school baseball.
Guaranteed instruction that will prepare you or your team for the weekend tournament!
- Each team (players) play in game each day
- At least 1 Player will be in the dugout at all times to learn hands on what to do and what not to do in the infield during live game
