The hitting camp offers campers the opportunity to be instructed and seen on the campus of UNC with the Carolina Baseball Coaching Staff. Hitters will receive an instructional hitting lecture along with instructional drill work provided throughout stations. Additionally, batting practice will take place on the main game field with analytical data such as exit velocity provided on a camp feedback sheet. A UNC Strength Coach will be on hand to demonstrate firsthand for campers position and hitting specific exercises used to enhance the swing and movement patterns. Campers will also go through a short circuit with the strength coach that helps give them an understanding of core stability strength and movement patterns. The day camp ends with a campus and facility tour.
