Spend a week with the Cougars at our Youth Boys Basketball Camp! The camp will be instructed by Frederick CC Men’s Basketball coaching staff and assisted by current student-athletes.

CAMP DIRECTOR: Darryl Whiten, Men’s Basketball Coach, will teach and oversee all aspects of the camp. Coach Whiten, along with the current team members, will be responsible for teaching and demonstrating the fundamentals of basketball. Coach Whiten will stress confidence, teamwork, effort and sportsmanship, which are important ingredients in achieving success on and off the court.

CAMP ACTIVITIES: Fundamentals taught include shooting, passing, dribbling, rebounding, defense, team play and sportsmanship. Three-on-three and five-on-five league games. Free-throw shooting and hot-shot competitions.

CAMP FEATURES: College gym, players grouped according to age and ability, extra individual instruction.

WHAT TO BRING: Good Attitude, desire to learn, basketball sneakers, athletic shorts and shirt.
