As a business owner, you’re always looking for creative ways to promote your business and reach new customers. One effective strategy is to partner with local drive-through restaurants, like Chick-Fil-A, to leverage their customer base and gain more exposure for your brand.

Here are the steps I took to partner with a local Chick-Fil-A and promote my upcoming baseball camp:

Step 1: Identify a Local Drive-Through Restaurant to Partner With

The first step is to find a local drive-through restaurant that aligns with your business values and has a similar target audience. In my case, I chose Chick-Fil-A because they have a large customer base and are known for their community involvement.

Step 2: Pitch Your Idea and Create a Win-Win Partnership

Once you’ve identified a restaurant to partner with, pitch your idea to the manager or owner. Explain how your partnership can benefit both your business and theirs. In my case, I proposed putting up two yard signs in the Chick-Fil-A drive-through to promote my baseball camp. In exchange, we agreed to buy our food from Chick-Fil-A during the camp week.

Step 3: Create Eye-Catching Graphics to Promote Your Business

To make the most of your partnership, it’s important to create eye-catching graphics that promote your business and drive traffic to your website. You can use free tools like Canva.com to create graphics with a QR code that links to your website or registration page. You can also create a graphic that includes all the important details of your event, like dates, ages, and cost.

Step 4: Publish Your Domain URL on Your Yard Sign

Another great way to promote your business and make your yard sign more memorable is to purchase a Google domain and publish it on your sign. This way, people who see your sign can easily remember your website URL and visit your site later.

Yard signs typically cost anywhere from $20 to $30 to make and have delivered. I recommend creating the graphics in Canva and then uploading them to vista print. That way you can buy the sturdy stakes to place in the ground!

By following these steps, you can create a successful partnership with a local drive-through restaurant and promote your business to a wider audience. So don’t hesitate to reach out to local businesses in your area and explore the possibilities of collaboration.
