Thank you for visiting the Wingate Baseball Camp Site, home of the 2021 D2 National Champions! We are located in Wingate, NC southeast of Charlotte, NC! The coaching staff here at Wingate University prides itself on teaching the game of baseball to players of all ages and ability levels. The mechanics and drills that are taught at our camps are used with our college players. We are determined to provide the best possible learning experience for our campers. Whether you are looking for top quality instruction from a college baseball staff, or want to showcase your skills with the hopes of taking your game to the next level, we have something for you! Camps are offered year round, if you do not currently see a camp that fits your needs then check back again soon as we regularly update our schedule.

Are accommodations provided for athletes?

Unless otherwise noted, our camps are not overnight camps. Players traveling
from out of town are responsible for securing their own accommodations.

What do I need to bring to be prepared for camp?

Each camper should wear baseball uniform pants, colored socks or stirrups,
and a shirt, jersey, or warm-up for each session. Additionally, campers
need to provide their own glove, spikes/cleats, and tennis shoes (or turf
shoes). Catchers are expected to bring their own gear.

Additionally, any medical waivers and/or COVID policy paperwork should be completed and turned in.

What is Wingate University's inclement weather policy?

All camps will run rain or shine and there is no rain date scheduled.
Players must bring appropriate footwear for any indoor activities i.e.
sneakers or turf shoes.

What is your attendance policy?

Registration will take place at the Wingate Baseball Concession Stand located at the top of the stadium near the tennis courts. Specific times for check in will be updated as needed.

What is your refund policy?

There will be no cash refunds for cancelled campers. Camp credit will be offered towards a future Wingate Baseball Camp.

Are food and drinks provided for athletes?

While water is provided for athletes, we encourage you to bring any additional food/sports drink that you’d like to stay hydrated.

Are camps open for spectating?

Yes, our camps are open and we encourage support members to enjoy watching their son develop.

Is medical staff onsite during the camp?

Yes, Wingate University is proud to have certified athletic trainers at all sporting events.
