Brett Cline, owner of Phoenix Softball Academy, has been the head softball coach of Wilson College, an NCAA D3 program in Chambersburg, PA, for 25 years. In those 25 years, Cline has a record of 403-341-4, including 8 seasons of 20+ wins. He is a 6-time conference Coach of the Year (2010, 2012, 2014-NEAC; 2019, 2022- CSAC; 2024-United East) and has won his conference twice (2019 & 2022- CSAC). In 2024, Cline led his team to an impressive 29-13 record, breaking the program record for wins in a season, and winning the United East’s Volt Division. Cline has led 56 players to all-conference awards since 2014, including 10 in 2024. In the past 15 years, Cline has also had 15 players become NCAA D3 statistical champions in a season.

Coach Eric Scheller serves as Phoenix Softball Academy’s Camp Coordinator, responsible for organizing and structuring the camps run by PSA. Scheller has served as an assistant coach at Wilson College since July 2022, working with outfielders and hitters and serving as the programs first base coach and recruiting coordinator through the 2024 season.
In his 2 season at Wilson, Scheller has helped mentor 4 outfielders and 7 other hitters to all-conference awards. Scheller helped lead the 2024 Phoenix to a huge improvement, including a 69 point increase in batting average, 100 more hits, 31 more extra base hits, 76 more RBIs, 85 more runs scored, a 52 point increase in on-base percentage, and 54 more stolen bases. Coach Scheller also helped to lead Wilson to a record breaking 29 win season and a conference divisional championship in 2024.
Prior to coming to Wilson, Scheller coached baseball at Wilson and Prince George’s Community College, working with the catchers and hitters. Scheller played baseball at Hood College, graduating in 2019 with a BA in Criminal Justice.

Coach Kaitlin Scheller is one of the camp coaches for the Phoenix Softball Academy. Scheller has served as an assistant softball coach for Wilson College since August 2021, working with the teams catchers, infielders, and hitters. In her time at Wilson, Scheller helped mentor 9 infielders and 4 hitters to all-conference awards. Scheller also helped lead the Phoenix to a program record 29 wins and a divisional championship in 2024, and a conference championship and first ever NCAA regional win in 2022.
Scheller helped lead the 2024 Phoenix to a huge improvement, including a 69 point increase in batting average, 100 more hits, 31 more extra base hits, 76 more RBIs, 85 more runs scored, a 52 point increase in on-base percentage, and 54 more stolen bases.
Scheller played at Hood College, where she was the team captain, an NFCA Scholar-Athlete, President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), and All-MAC Commonwealth Honorable mention. Scheller graduated from Hood in 2019 with a BA in Marketing.

Coach Megan Potter is one of the camp coaches for the Phoenix Softball Academy. Potter has served as an assistant softball coach for Wilson College since July 2022, working with the teams pitchers and infielders and serving as the programs recruiting coordinator. In her time coaching at Wilson, Potter has mentored 1 pitcher and 5 infielders to all-conference awards. Potter also helped lead the Phoenix to a program record 29 wins and a divisional championship in 2024.
In her time as the pitching coach, the Wilson pitching staff has shown great improvement. The team improved with a 2.86 decrease in ERA, .17 decrease in WHIP, 3 more complete games, 22 less hits, 44 less runs, 28 less earned runs, and 21 more strikeouts from the 2023 to 2024 seasons.
Potter joined the coaching staff after spending her playing career as a member of the Phoenix. While at Wilson, she was a three-time all-conference team member and a two-time Fastpitch News All-American. Potter has pitched in over 421 innings where she has earned 47 wins, tallied 493 strikeouts, and threw a perfect game. Potter was also part of the 2019 and 2022 conference championship teams. Potter was inducted in the Gwendolyn Jensen Athletic Hall of Fame in 2020. Potter graduated with her BA in Education in 2020 and her Masters in Education in 2022 from Wilson.
