Adrian Morales was announced as the fifth Head Baseball Coach at Nova Southeastern University in August 2023.

“I am proud to announce Adrian Morales as the new Head Coach of the Sharks Baseball program. Amongst many other championship characteristics, Adrian possesses the passion, the winning pedigree, and the right skill set to lead our tradition rich program”, said Athletics Director and Associate Vice President for Advancement, Michael Mominey. “With Coach Morales as our leader, I am confident Sharks Baseball will continue to be recognized as a nationally preeminent program on and off the field.”

Morales comes to Nova Southeastern after four seasons as the Head Coach at Miami-Dade College, where he accumulated a record of 126-60-2 (67.78 winning percentage). During the 2023 season, Morales guided MDC to a 34-16-1 record, winning the South Regional Championship and finished third in the FCSAA Tournament. Morales led Miami-Dade to three consecutive FCSAA Regional Southern Conference Championships from 2021-2023. Additionally, Morales also earned was named the Southern Conference Coach of the Year in three straight seasons from 2021 to 2023 and was recognized as the 2021 FCSAA and Diamond Club Coach of the Year.

Baseball Camps at Nova Southeastern University offers an opportunity for players to receive valuable instruction on the fundamental skills of baseball. Campers will be made aware of the characteristics that define successful baseball players. Organized games between campers will provide a competitive outlet after specific drills have been practiced. Contests built into drills capture the learner’s attention, which results in attentive practice.

Drill progressions will be aimed towards recognizing and developing good habits in all aspects of the game. General courtesy, respect for teammates and opponents and the importance of hard work will be taught to the campers through example by the Nova Southeastern Baseball staff.

Nova Southeastern Baseball Camps are inclusive and welcome individuals of all backgrounds and skill levels. All our camps are open to the public, and we encourage players who fall within the specified age range to join us. We hope to provide outstanding training and development opportunities.

Our camps are open to all baseball players, regardless of skill level, age, grade level, or gender. We welcome beginners looking to learn the game as well as advanced players seeking to enhance their skills.

Our camps boast a highly qualified and experienced coaching staff. Instructors include Nova Southeastern Baseball Coaches, and current Nova SE players. This ensures that participants receive top-notch instruction from experts who are dedicated to fostering the growth and development of young athletes.

The safety of our campers is of utmost importance to us. We maintain a safe and secure environment by adhering to all necessary health and safety guidelines. Our staff is trained to provide proper supervision and ensure that all equipment is in good condition.

Registration for our camps can be completed online through Play’n Sports software. The registration process will require basic information about your child, such as name, age/grade, emergency contact details, and any medical considerations. Specific instructions and registration deadlines will be available on the camp website.
