Lauren Pitney Softball Training
Lauren Pitney Softball Training is owned and run by Lauren Pitney. Lauren graduated from St. Joseph High School in Trumbull, CT where she led her team to back-to-back FCIAC titles. Following her time at St. Joseph’s, Lauren went on to play four years of Division I softball at Manhattan College in the Bronx, NY. At Manhattan, Lauren was awarded with the following accolades:
- 2017 MAAC All-Tournament Team
- 2017 Third Team NFCA All-Northeast Region
- 2017 All-MAAC First Team
- 2018 Third Team NFCA All-Northeast Region
- 2018 All-MAAC Second Team
- 2019 Second Team NFCA All-Northeast Region
- 2019 All-MAAC First Team
- 2019 MAAC Defensive Player of the Year
- Holds a .320 Career Batting Average with 29 Career Home Runs and 119 Career RBIs
- Led the NCAA in Walks Per Game in 2019
- Second in NCAA with a .617 OBS% in 2019
After graduating from Manhattan College in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Lauren went on to coach softball at Springfield College from 2019-2021, During that time Lauren also received her master’s in Athletic Administration from Springfield College. Lauren went back to coach softball at Manhattan College for a short stint in the fall of 2021. Lauren currently serves as the Assistant Varsity Softball Coach at Amity Regional High School in Woodbridge, CT and she is also the Head Softball Coach for the Select Brakettes 18u team in Stratford, CT.
