Former college and current private high school head baseball coach at Pallotti HS (MD).
A switch hitting outfielder with power from both sides of the plate, Dixon led Anne Arundel County (MD) in homers two straight seasons (seven each year). An All-County football running back and point guard on the Falcons’ basketball team. Dixon batted .329 (23 for 70) but was walked 20 times as teams tried to pitch around him. He led his team in runs scored (27), had five doubles, and a triple. Only struck out three times all season. Had a baseball scholarship to UNC-Charlotte.

What is the schedule for the camp?
Mid Atlantic Fall Prospect Camp Itinerary
Date: Sunday, October 6, 2024
Location: Blandair Regional Park, Columbia, MD
Check-in: 9:00 AM
10:00 AM: Introduction of College Coaches
10:15 AM: Stretch
10:30 AM: 30-Yard Dash and 5x10x5 Drill
– Outfielders (OF) run first and will throw after completion to get ready for Defensive Indy.
11:00 AM: Defensive Indy with College Coaches
– 15-minute sessions, allowing players that play two positions to work at both spots.
11:40 AM: Batting Practice
– Rotations: Groups of 8
– Cages
– On-Field BP: 1st round 7 swings & 2nd round 5 swings
– Defense: Stays out for 2 hitting groups. Metrics from OF before 1st group, INF before 2nd group. Play last ball to each hitter live.
– LUNCH: Grab lunch from food truck and eat in stands. (Lunch is included for campers. Spectators can purchase from the food truck.)
2:00 PM: Pitcher Only’s Arrive and Grab Food
3:00 PM: Q&A with College Coaches
3:30 PM: Simulated Game Starts
Note: All participants are encouraged to bring their own equipment, including gloves, bats, helmets, and catching gear if applicable. Hydration stations will be available throughout the camp.

What should attendees bring to the camp?
The attendees should come dressed in baseball pants and have all baseball equipment.
Example: If you’re a catcher, you need to have all of your catcher equipment.
Is lunch provided, or should participants bring their own meals?
Food truck will be provided for High School Prospect Campers. Parents will be able to purchase food.
Are there any specific health or medical requirements for camp attendees?
Fill out medical wavier at check-in. We will have an athletic trainer on staff.
Can parents or guardians attend and watch the camp sessions?
