St. Andrews Baseball Camps
Andy Fox is the Head Baseball Coach for the St. Andrews Knights after being promoted in the fall of 2016.
Prior to joining the Knights coaching staff, Fox was the Head Coach and Recruiting Coordinator for three years at Wilkes Community College in Wilkesboro, NC. In 2009, he served as Recruiting Coordinator and Assistant Coach at WCC.
Prior to coaching at Wilkes, Fox coached at Watauga High School under Legendary Coach Pete Hardee from 2005-2009 where he was the Varsity Assistant and JV Head Coach. Coach Fox was also an assistant coach for Taylorsville Post 170 Legion from 2004-2008. Coach Fox’s resume includes being an Assistant Coach at Alexander Central High School from 2003- 2004.
Fox was a former head coach for “The Heat Baseball Academy,” a showcase team out of Hickory, NC from 2008-12. Coach Fox was also the Head Coach of the Morganton Aggies in the Southern Collegiate Baseball League in the summers of 2012 and 2013.
Fox played his high school baseball at Alexander Central, where he was an All-Conference second baseman in 2002. Fox then played his collegiate baseball at Wilkes Community College from 2003-2004 where he was the starting second baseman for the Cougars for two years. After his two years at WCC, Fox attended Appalachian State University, where he majored in Secondary Education and History and began coaching full time at Watauga High School.
A Native of Taylorsville, NC, Fox resides in Laurinburg.

Matt Polak is entering his first season as the Recruiting Coordinator at St. Andrews, after spending the past 2 years as the Pitching Coach. He will continue that role along with being the Recruiting Coordinator.
Polak is a St. Andrews Alum (2017). In his 4 years at St. Andrews, he embraced many different roles and positions. His senior year, he posted a batting average of .305 and an on-base percentage of .430. He graduated with a degree in Physical Education K-12.
Polak has summer collegiate playing experience in the Tidewater Summer League of Virginia Beach, and the Valley League of northern Virginia. Following St. Andrews, Polak participated in the South Florida Winter League, an independent scouting league in southern Florida. While there, he faced competition from semi-professional and professional baseball leagues, along with being surrounded by coaches of various ranks, which have helped further his knowledge of the game immensely.
For 3 summers, Polak has been an Assistant Coach for the Greenbrier Knights of the Tidewater Collegiate Summer league. Polak helped lead the Knights to a league championship in the summer of 2020. During the summer of 2019, Polak was the Head Coach of the Tri-State Arsenal South 2022 team, an elite showcase team based out of Aberdeen, North Carolina.
He is a native of Smithfield, Virginia, and currently resides in Laurinburg.
Charles Weber joined the Knights coaching staff in 2020 as the Hitting Coach.
Prior to joining the Knights coaching staff, Weber worked for 8 years as the lead hitting instructor at Core Athletics, a training facility in Concord, NC. In addition to lessons, he also ran hitting clinics, camps, and acted as a coaching liaison for the travel teams within the Core Athletics organization.
During his time at Core Athletics, Weber was also a part of the coaching staff for the Charlotte Stampede – a homeschool-based group out of the Charlotte metro area. He served as the Head JV and Assistant Varsity Coach from 2013-2016, before being promoted to the Varsity Head Coach in 2017 where they finished runner-up at the Homeschool World Series in 2018 & 2019. Weber was also Head Coach of the Concord Athletics in the Southern Collegiate Baseball League for 4 summers.
Weber played his high school baseball at Jay M. Robinson High School, where he was an All-Conference shortstop in 2006. He is a St. Andrews Alum (2010), where he was a 4-year starter at third base. Weber played in 180 games in his St. Andrews career finishing with 134 hits. His best season was his junior year where he finished with a .321 batting average, 9 XBH, and a .442 on-base percentage. He graduated with a degree in Business Administration.
A native of Concord, NC, Weber currently resides in Laurinburg.

The safety of our campers is of utmost importance to us. We maintain a safe and secure environment by adhering to all necessary health and safety guidelines. Our staff is trained to provide proper supervision and ensure that all equipment is in good condition.
How can I register my child for the St. Andrews Baseball Camps?
Registration for our camps can be completed online through Play’n Sports software.
