VCU Baseball Elite Winter Prospect Camp – Session One

• The VCU Baseball Elite Winter Prospect Camp Session One will be held on Saturday, December 11th at the VCU Baseball Performance Center, a state of the art indoor hitting facility opened in 2020 for exclusive use by the VCU Baseball Program.
• There will be two registration options, Pitcher or Position Player ONLY ($150) or Pitcher AND Position Player ($225).
• Included in the cost of registration will be a full Rapsodo report for both pitchers and hitters.
• This camp will be primarily pitching/catching and offensive focused.
• Each session will start with instruction from the VCU Staff on the various elements of pitching and hitting, including pre throwing routines, arm care, tee work and hitting drills.
• Following the instructional setting will be live at bats with pitchers facing a minimum of 12 batters.
• Both the pitching and hitting rapsodo units will be running during live at bats to gather metrics for both the hitters and pitchers.
• These reports will be available in the week following camp.
• This camp will be capped at 40 participants, 20 pitchers, 10 catchers and 10 position players in order to ensure adequate at bats, mound time and exposure for the prospect
• Age: 14-18 years old
