Presbyterian College has announced Tiffany Sardin as the ninth head coach of the Blue Hose women’s basketball program. Coach Sardin currently leads the Presbyterian women’s basketball team, bringing over a decade of coaching experience across seven institutions, highlighted by two conference championships and a Women’s Basketball Invitational title.
Throughout her career, Sardin has coached 12 All-Conference players across five leagues, including five First Team selections and one Freshman of the Year.
Most recently, Sardin served as Associate Head Coach at Saint Louis University (2022-23), guiding the team to the A-10 Conference Tournament Championship and their first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance. At SLU, three players earned All-Conference honors, with two named to the All-Defensive team and an MVP of A-10 tournament.
As head coach at Chicago State (2020-22), Sardin led the Cougars to notable improvements, including their first win against a Big Ten opponent since 2008. At Longwood University (2018-20), she guided four players to Big South Conference honors, including Freshman of the Year- Kyla McMakin.
Her earlier coaching stops included assistant roles at Clemson, Boston University, and Illinois-Chicago (UIC), where she contributed to UIC’s WBI Championship in 2014. Sardin began her coaching career at Mount Olive College, helping the team win its first-ever Conference Carolinas Championship.
Sardin had an outstanding collegiate playing career at the University of Virginia (2002-06), where she was a three-time team captain and earned ACC All-Tournament honors. Following UVA, she played professionally in Portugal, leading her team to its first Euro Cup appearance.

Ivey Slaughter is entering her 2nd year as an assistant under Coach Tiffany Sardin.
A former standout at Florida State University, Slaughter brings elite playing and coaching experience to the Blue Hose. She played in 132 games at FSU, finishing among the program’s all-time leaders in rebounds, steals, and free throws. After college, she attended WNBA training camps with the New York Liberty and Las Vegas Aces and went on to play professionally in Hungary, Latvia, and Sweden.
Slaughter previously spent two seasons as an assistant coach at UNC Asheville, where she helped lead defensive improvements and coached All-Conference talent. She holds a master’s degree from FSU and is known for her strong work ethic and passion for developing student-athletes.
“Ivey’s energy, experience, and commitment to growth make her the perfect fit for our program,” said Coach Sardin.

Kiploks joins Presbyterian’s coaching staff after spending the past two seasons as associate head women’s basketball coach at Ferrum College.
“I am thrilled to welcome Elyse to our team, ” said Sardin. “I believe that her experience and unwavering dedication to the game will undoubtedly help propel our program to new heights of success.”
During her time at Ferrum, Kiploks coached Kayla Cabiness, an All-Conference player, who most recently finished her career third on the school’s all-time scoring list with 1,625 points.
Before beginning her coaching career, the Melbourne, Australia native played five seasons of professional basketball for teams in Australia, England, and Spain.
Kiploks is a former student-athlete from the Big South who was a standout player at Charleston Southern. During the 2016-17 season, she started in all 32 games for the Bucs where she led the Big South in defensive rebounds per game (5.6), was third in blocked shots (1.3), and fourth in the league with an average of 7.3 rebounds per game.
After graduating in 2017 from Charleston Southern with a degree in Social Science, she spent two seasons as Charleston Southern’s Director of Basketball Operations.
“I am eager and excited to have the opportunity to join this staff and the Presbyterian family,” Kiploks said. “Coach Tiffany has had a lot of success and is an outstanding person. I’m beyond grateful to be able to learn and grow under her leadership. I look forward to working with our fantastic student-athletes, staff, and community here in Clinton!”

Our camps boast a highly qualified and experienced coaching staff. Instructors include Presbyterian Women Basketball Coaches, and current Presbyterian Womens Basketball players. This ensures that participants receive top-notch instruction from experts who are dedicated to fostering the growth and development of young athletes.

The safety of our campers is of utmost importance to us. We maintain a safe and secure environment by adhering to all necessary health and safety guidelines. Our staff is trained to provide proper supervision and ensure that all equipment is in good condition.
