Nick Black
Former Guilford catcher and graduate Nick Black served as the Guilford College Quakers head baseball coach for 16 seasons. Coach Black has coached 27 All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) honorees and one, two-time All-American.
As a certified strength and conditioning coach, Black served as the assistant strength coach at Furman University for seven months after his graduation from Guilford College.

Coach Black started Triad Baseball Academy to share his skill and knowledge for the game, as well as his desire to see the deep traditions and sportsmanship of baseball continue through the generations.

ZACH BOOKER
Zach Booker has earned success in coaching since his graduation from Elon University. Booker joined Guilford College baseball staff in 2019 after spending 2018 as an assistant baseball coach at crosstown-rival Greensboro College. In the fall of 2021, Zach was named Head Coach at Guilford College.

Before his transfer to Elon where he hit .340 in 42 games, Coach Booker played for UNC at Wilmington from 2004 to 2006, primarily as a pitcher, and compiled a 17-8 record with two saves, 172 strikeouts, and a 5.35 earned run average in 74 career appearances (39 starts).
