Welcome to The Lab’s youth Summer Sandlot Camps, where young baseball enthusiasts come to learn, grow, and have a blast on the diamond!

Join us for Camp One, taking place from June 19th to 22nd, where each day is packed with excitement from 8 am to 12 pm. Our camps are open to boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 12, providing an inclusive and fun environment for everyone.

Campers will have access to top-of-the-line facilities and equipment, including HitTrax technology, which allows them to experience the thrill of hitting in a virtual stadium. Our indoor gym provides the perfect space for strength and agility training, helping campers enhance their overall athletic performance.

But the action doesn’t stop indoors! With several outdoor fielding activities, our campers get to practice their skills in real-game scenarios. From grounders and fly balls to infield and outfield drills, they’ll have plenty of opportunities to showcase their talent and develop their fielding techniques.

As an added bonus, each camper will receive a stylish camp t-shirt upon registration, creating a sense of camaraderie and team spirit.

At The Lab, our experienced coaches are passionate about creating a positive and supportive environment for young athletes. Through expert instruction and interactive games, we aim to foster a love for the game while building essential skills and confidence.

In consideration of the fee paid participant understands that there is a risk of personal injury in the course of instruction and, with this knowledge, agrees to assume the risk of any injury and damages to participant during the seminar.

Specifically, participant agrees to hold harmless The Lab BCS, Hustle3, JE Sports, and all other individuals, organizations, sponsors, promoters, operators, hosts, instructors, associations, schools, owners, officials, directors, employees and other participants connected with the event from all losses, damages, injuries, causes of actions, claims, or complaints in the event that the participant is damaged or injured in any way during the participation, instruction and/or performance of any exercise or during any activity associated with the event location or during transit to or from the event.

Participant further agrees to strictly obey instructors and observe safety rules.

Because of the physical demands of baseball and softball training, participant understands that he/she must be in good physical condition to participate in the event. Participant understands that in case of injury, the only medical treatment {SchoolName} will provide is first aid.

Participant agrees that any pictures, audio, or visual recordings taken of him/her in connection with the seminar can be used for publication, promotion, articles, shows and advertisement without additional consent and without compensation at this time or any other time.

Matt was born and raised in Houston, TX. He played baseball collegiately at Panola Jr. College, where he earned All-Conference and 3rd team All-American honors, and then at Texas A&M University, where he earned 2nd Team All-Big 12 honors. Matt was drafted in the 24th round by the Miami Marlins and played 6 years professionally, including All-Star team appearances at both the A and AA levels. Matt’s passion to pass along his years of experience is seen everyday at The Lab at HUSTLE3.

Kenny Jackson
Lead Player Development Coach for Hitting and Fielding Read more Read less

Kenny was a first-team all-conference shortstop at Alvin Community College, where he led his team to a conference title and fifth-place finish at the JUCO World Series in 2008. He went on to play baseball for Texas A&M University and was the starting shortstop on the Aggie’s 2011 College World Series team. He was drafted by the Florida Marlins in the 31st round during the 2011 MLB Draft and spent one season playing in the Gulf Coast League for the Marlins before focusing on his coaching career. He served as the head coach for Western Texas College for four years prior to joining The Lab at HUSTLE3 in 2021.
