This prospect camp is an opportunity to get you in front of the Fayetteville Tech Community College Baseball coaching staff. The camp is designed for prospective student athletes who are interested in playing baseball at the collegiate level. Players will work hands on with the Trojan coaching staff and receive feedback and instruction.

The camp will consist of a pro style workout, batting practice, and a scrimmage for position players. Pitchers will be brought through a detailed pre and post throw routine, receive drills, and throw live for the coaching staff.

Position players will check in at 8:30 AM
Pitchers will check in at 10:00 AM

Nic Love joined FTCC Athletics as the head baseball coach and college academic advisor in August. 2021.

Love comes to FTCC from fellow NJCAA Region 10 program Paul D. Camp CC. He was on the Hurricanes’ staff for two years, becoming the team’s associate head coach and recruiting coordinator in his final year there.

Prior to the that, Love was on staff at his alma mater, Eastern Mennonite University, as an assistant coach for three years.

The Bedford, Va., native is a product of the junior college system. He played baseball at Patrick Henry CC for two years before transferring to EMU, a NCAA Division III program, to finish his collegiate career. He was a captain in his final season at each program.

Love earned his bachelor’s degree in Sport and Recreation Leadership from EMU in 2016 and his master’s degree in interdisciplinary studies with a focus on organizational leadership.
