The University of Portland Baseball August Prospect Camp will take place on August 31st, 2025, starting at 9:30 AM at Joe Etzel Field. This camp offers attendees a unique opportunity to meet and interact with the University of Portland baseball coaching staff. The event will feature a pro-style workout and batting practice, followed by a one-hour lunch break. The camp will conclude with a high-level scrimmage, providing participants with a competitive and immersive baseball experience. This prospect camp is designed to give aspiring players a comprehensive and professional baseball experience while showcasing their skills in front of the coaching staff. We look forward to evaluating and working with future Pilots!

Note: Please bring any equipment you’d need to compete in a baseball game, including your glove, cleats, helmet, catcher’s gear, etc.

Pitchers will participate in a professional-style warm up series, bullpen, and throw in a live scrimmage against hitters. Pitchers may arrive following the lunch break at 1:00 PM to begin their workout session.

2 Way Prospect - Position Player & Pitcher
Prospect attendees who will both hit and pitch will participate in the pro-style workout and batting practice, and will have the opportunity to pitch during the live scrimmage following lunch.
