    • Cliff Godwin Elite 100 Baseball Camp is for student-athletes who are serious about playing at the next level.
    • Our Elite 100 Camp is a great opportunity to showcase your skills in front of the entire ECU coaching staff and it allows us to get to know each player personally.

We will provide all campers lunch on Saturday. No food will be provided on Sunday.

  • Campers will receive instruction and coaching from the ECU Baseball staff and will learn the P.I.R.A.T.E.S. way. Campers and their families will receive a behind the scenes tour of our facilities and will also visit our weight room and hear from our very own strength and conditioning coach.
  • Campers will play their primary position only! Please select only 1 position when you register.
  • If your desired position in camp is full and you would like to be added to our wait list, please contact Austin Knight at cliffgodwinbaseballcamp@gmail.com
  • Campers will enjoy a hitting and pitching skull session with Coach Godwin and Coach Knight. They will get defensive instruction at their primary position. Each camper will have the opportunity to showcase their abilities during our pro-style workouts and batting practice.
  • We also offer speed training as well as facility tours for all registered campers.
  • Finally each camper will participate in 2 games (weather permitting) where they will be evaluated by the ECU Baseball staff.

Each camper is encouraged to bring his or her own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, cleats, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, helmet, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear. Every camper in attendance will be given a camp T-shirt. We recommend bringing sunscreen during the summer. We also advise youth campers to wear proper baseball attire but it is not necessary to participate in camp.

No camps that ECU Baseball offers at this time are overnight camps. Accommodations should be made in advance for any participants coming to camp from outside the Greenville area.

Our camps welcome all participants ages 6-13, regardless of skill level. Registration is on a first come, first served basis as long as the registrant is within the specified range of ages. If you have any questions regarding camp, please contact our Camp Coordinator, Blake Bortles at cliffgodwinbaseballcamp@gmail.com.

We have plans in place for all of our camps to run whether rain or shine. We will communicate any changes made to camp through the email provided during registration if the weather forecast looks like it will prevent us from being on the field.
Players should bring appropriate footwear for any indoor activities i.e. sneakers or turf shoes.

Parents are highly encouraged to observe their child’s participation in camp.

Coaches will be happy to answer any questions after the camp is over regarding what we worked on at camp that day. For safety and liability reasons, at no time is a non-camper allowed on the playing surface of Lewis Field.

We highly recommended that you clearly mark all equipment your child brings to camp. Any items that are left behind will be kept for 1 week following the last day of camp before being donated to the local parks and recreation. Cliff Godwin Baseball Camps takes no responsibility for any items that are lost or stolen. In the event your child leaves equipment please email our Camp Coordinator, Austin Knight at cliffgodwinbaseballcamp@gmail.com

All camps held at ECU have medical staff present. ECU Athletic Training
provides trainers for our each of our camp sessions. It is important to indicate any pre-existing medical conditions prior to camp on the required forms so our trainers can assist your child as needed.

All medical forms must be completed one week prior to the start date of camp. These two forms must be filled out and signed in their entirety (whether they pertain to your child or not). You can download all forms in the documents
page on the event page at anytime before the camp.
