ur goal is for a complete experience for the player and parent. There is no better way for players to be evaluated, refine their skills with college coaches, learn about the recruiting process and experience college baseball. Our camps are designed for athletes to receive maximal exposure, interaction, and instruction from college coaches and players.

ALL GAMES/ SHOWCASES TAKE PLACE ON ONE FIELD! This means that the player to coach ratio is HIGH!!

All positions are CAPPED in order to maximize playing time, exposure and interaction with the 25-30 college coaches attending.

The Details

Two Live Games (Days 2-3)- Each player will receive optimal playing time and exposure to the 25-30 college coaches attending the event. Coaches will also be hitting fielders ground ball/fly balls before the games and between innings for additional defensive work. All 25-30 college coaches on ONE field for maximum exposure!

Evaluations/ Pro-Style Showcase (Day 1)- Each player will participate in a pro-style workout where all measurable will be recorded (60-yard dash, exit velocity, pop times, defensive showcase). All 25-30 college coaches on ONE field for maximum exposure!

Defensive Instruction (Day 1)- Each player will play and will receive instruction at their primary positions from college coaches!

Recruiting Q&A (Day 1)- Players and parents will take part in a recruiting Q&A session with Coach Woodson. Any questions about academic requirements or recruiting are welcome!

Optional Instructional Add-On: Extra Hitting/Infield/Catching/Pitching: Athletes will have the chance to get some extra reps with Coach Woodson, Coach Radack, Coach Mulberg, Coach Epstein, Coach Rinaldi and other college coaches. These sessions will be a great way to learn from the coaches in a small group setting. This is a smaller group setting designed to have players work hands on with college coaches. All add-on sessions will be held at Tuckahoe Sports, Inc. See schedule below for dates and times of these sessions.

Video Analysis (Optional Add-On)- You will receive a 10 minute video breakdown from Coach Radack (hitting coach) and/or Coach Epstein (pitching coach) of your mechanics and any advice that they can provide. In addition to the video breakdown, you will receive more specifics about the Richmond Spiders player development program and how you can apply these exercises and drills into your own routine. If you sign up for this add-on, you will receive an email from Coach Radack about 4 weeks after camp concludes with your video breakdown.

Tentative Schedule (subject to change):

Please be sure to look for an email the week of camp for a finalized schedule. Please make it a habit to check email daily, as this will be the way that we will communicate with you.

We will send out which group players are in 10 Days prior to camp.

Please be prepared to arrive for check-in as early as 7am if you are in one of the first groups/ games or end as late as 7pm if you are in one of the final groups/ games.

Monday, July 31st (All Optional/additional fee)
**Takes place at Tuckahoe Sports, Inc indoor facility

4:00pm-5:45pm – Extra Hitting Session I with College Coaches Instructing- $199, session capped at 24 players
6:00-7:15pm – Extra Infield/ Catching Session with College Coaches Instructing- $149, session capped at 24 players
7:30pm-9:15pm- Extra Hitting Session II with College Coaches Instructing- $199, session capped at 24 players
Tuesday, August 1st
**Takes place at Pitt Field on the campus of University of Richmond.
**Each player will be assigned to one group
**Groups capped at 65 players

Group 1
8:00am-1:45pm – Pro-Style Workout, Coach Pitch Scrimmage, Instruction, Recruiting Q&A,
Group 2
11:15am-5:00pm – Pro-Style Workout, Coach Pitch Scrimmage. Instruction, Recruiting Q&A

6:00-7:45pm – Pitching Instructional Session led by Coach Epstein – $199, session capped at 24 players
Wednesday, August 2nd
**Takes place at Pitt Field on the campus of University of Richmond.
**Each player will be assigned to one game per day. Players will arrive 45 minutes before game time to stretch and hit in cages
**Each team will be capped at 10-12 hitters and by position, pitchers will be capped in order to maximize time on the mound for each player.

No walks-ups are allowed for the program.
Payment is due in full at the time of online registration.
Refund/Cancellation Policy: There are absolutely NO refunds for cancellations of any reason unless you purchase the “Refund Guarantee” optional add on which allows you to receive a refund, minus the Ryzer processing fee, FOR ANY REASON up to 21 days prior to the start date. Tracy Woodson enters his ninth season at the helm of the Spider Baseball program in 2022. His baseball career has taken him from coast-to-coast, but baseball brought him home in 2013 when he was introduced as the eighth head baseball coach in the program’s 110-plus year history.

During his 14-year career in college baseball, Woodson has coached 46 All-Conference players, three All-Americans, 21 All-Academic honorees, one conference Player of the Year, two conference Pitchers of the Year and three NCAA Regional All-Tournament selections.
