Mini Offensive Camp

Southern Wesleyan University Baseball would like to introduce you to our Inaugural Winter Mini Series! This is a great way to focus on improving your craft! The Mini Offensive Camp is designed to enhance the development within all aspects of Offense. Each player who attends will be provided a packet of drills and information so they can continue to improve on their own. We will also incorporate a classroom section to discuss a variety of offensive topics and provided a Q&A for the players.

Tentative Schedule:

8:30-9:00am: Check in
* There will be a table set up at the top of the facility, just below the entrance staircase

9:00- 9:45am: Classroom Session
* Each player will receive a packet with drills, pictures, approaches, and overall offensive information. The classroom session will consist of an interactive presentation, along with a Q&A after.

9:45- 10:00am: Hitters Warm-Up
*Player will participate in the exact warm-up that SWU Baseball Players do every time before they hit

10:00- 10:30am: Development Rotation 1
*Development Rotation 1 will consist of 3 groups split up. These groups will rotate around 3 different development stations where a member of the coaching staff is providing specific development for that station.

10:30-11:00am: Offensive Rotation 1
*Offensive Rotation 1 will allow the players to know execute the specific stations that were previously discussed by the SWU Coaching Staff.
Station 1: Bunting (On Field)
Station 2: Timing (Cage)
Station 3: Prep Work (Cage)

11:00-11:30am: Development Rotation 2
*Development Rotation 2 will consist of 3 groups split up. These groups will rotate around 3 different development stations where a member of the coaching staff is providing specific development for that station.

11:30-12:00pm: Offensive Rotation 2
*Offensive Rotation 1 will allow the players to know execute the specific stations that were previously discussed by the SWU Coaching Staff.
Station 1: Situational/Advantage (On Field)
Station 2: 2 Strike Approach (Cage)
Station 3: Base-Running (On Field)
