Attendees will be able to showcase their abilities in front of the Hope International University baseball coaching staff and have the opportunity to earn an athletic scholarship.

8:30-9:00am – Check in
9:00-9:30am – Stretch/ Catch/ 60 yard dash
9:30-10:30am – Defensive Skills
10:30-11:30am – Offensive Skills
11:30-12:00pm – Lunch
12:15-2:15pm – Game
2:15-3:00pm – Program Overview/Questions

Steven Phillips enters his seventh year as an assistant coach for the Royals. Phillips began coaching career in 2018 when joining Hope International University working with their infielders and hitters. Phillips spent seven consecutive summers coaching for Yarmouth Dennis Red Sox in the Cape Cod baseball league. Phillips graduated from HIU with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and also earned his Master’s Degree from HIU.
