Head Baseball Coach Holy Family University
Kyle Davis
Head Coach Read more Read less

Kyle Davis was hired as Holy Family University’s first-ever baseball coach in June 2023.

Davis joined HFU from former Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) member University of the Sciences (USciences), where he was the head coach from 2019-22 after previously spending one season as an assistant in 2014.

In his first season at the helm of his alma mater, the Devils set Division II-era program records with 17 overall wins and 13 CACC victories, both of which were more than double the season prior.

After the 2020 season was shortened due to COVID, USciences appeared in its first CACC Tournament since 2013 in 2021. Two Devils were voted All-CACC First Team, giving the program two first team honorees for just the second time in its history.

In 2022, the final season of the program, University of the Sciences again won 17 games while accomplishing something it never had: landing three student-athletes on the All-CACC Team.

The Devils also excelled academically under Davis, as his student-athletes earned a total of 24 CACC All-Academic nominations during his four years.

Davis returned to his alma mater after spending the previous four seasons as head coach of Valley Forge Military Academy & College, where he took over as the program’s first-ever head coach prior to its inaugural 2015 season.

Tasked with building the team from the ground up, he led Valley Forge to a 19-18 record and a playoff appearance in just its second season.

A decorated collegiate player himself, Davis is USciences’ all-time hits leader in hits (170), total bases (222) and walks (99). A four-year captain and two-time All-CACC selection, he also ranks third in program history with 32 doubles, fourth with 97 runs and seven triples, and in the top-10 in on-base percentage (.433), RBI (74) and stolen bases (25).

Davis is certified by the American Baseball Coaches Association, and he also has experience at the travel baseball level as he served as a head coach for Tri-State Arsenal for four years.

He received his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Sciences and Wellness Management, before going on to earn his Master of Science in Exercise Physiology from West Chester University.
