Coastal is running a 4-week Catching Academy in July for Catcher’s looking to perfect their craft. We will cover high-level instruction in blocking, receiving, throwdowns, pitch-calling, and much more. Academy runs from July 8th through July 31st (4-weeks), every Tuesday and Thursday at Coastal Sports Center from 10:00AM to 12:00PM each session.

All sessions will be led by Coach Trevor Selph, a junior catcher at Eastern Mennonite University and Coastal alumni.

Coach Ellis is the owner of Coastal Sports Center in Norfolk, VA. In addition to managing the day to day operations of the training facility, he is also the head coach of Team Coastal 17u and offers private lessons, camps, clinics, and academies at Coastal. Coach Ellis specializes in catching instruction, but often runs sessions in all other areas of the game.

Coach Pauley is the Director of Operations at Coastal Sports Center in Norfolk, VA. In addition to assisting with the overall management of the business, Pauley also runs private lessons, camps, clinics, and academies for pitchers and position players.
