2023 Lions Softball Skills Camp

Camp refunds will be given in the form of a Camp Credit.

The 2023 Lions Skills camp will be broken up into 3 sessions: Pitching/Catching, Hitting, Infield/Outfield Defense. One session will cost $80. If you wish to attend more than one session, you can pick another session for an “add on” price of $40 per session. This camp is designed to build skills, refine technique for all positions, as well as provide an opportunity for athletes to work closely with the Mars Hill University Softball coaching staff and players.

Session 1: Pitcher's & Catcher's (8:30am to 10:30am)
Check-in for this session is 8:00am. This session will be from 8:30am-10:30am. At the end of the session, the Mars Hill University Softball Coaching staff will be available to answer any questions regarding recruiting and softball. During this session, campers can expect to improve on the fundamentals of their position while also learning proper mechanics to pitching/catching.

Session 2: Hitting (11:35am to 1:35pm)
Check-In for this session is 11:00am. This session will be from 11:35am-1:35pm. Please eat lunch before you come if you plan to stay for the defense session after. Lunch will not be provided. During this session, campers can expect to learn hitting fundamentals and mechanics, while also refining their swing technique. Following this session, the Mars Hill University Softball coaching staff will be available for any questions regarding softball or recruiting.

Session 3: Infield/Outfield Defense (2pm to 4pm)
Check-In for this session is 1:00pm. This session will be from 2:00pm-4:00pm. Please eat lunch before you come. Lunch will not be provided before this session. During this session, campers can expect to learn fielding fundamentals and proper mechanics, while also refining their footwork/glovework technique. Following this session, the Mars Hill University Softball coaching staff will be available for any questions regarding softball or recruiting.
