Virginia Tech Softball is excited to invite you to compete in our brand new 4 Week Indoor HitTrax Hitting League! Powered by HitTrax, the world’s first and only softball/baseball simulator, players of all ages will get a chance to work on their hitting skills and compete with their friends in a fun and safe environment!
The league schedule will be 4 weeks long with each team playing two 30-minute games a week. They will be competing against another team as well as trying to score as many runs as possible. Teams will receive half an hour of cage time before or after each scheduled night of games.
At the end of the season, the players on the winning team of the League will each receive a Championship T-Shirt and a picture with the coaches!

CAMP TIMES
5pm – 8pm (Please show up at least 15 minutes early to your assigned time to allow all games to continue to be on time.)
GAME LENGTHS
7 innings or 30 minutes, whichever comes first. No new inning after 26 minutes.
RUN RULES
No run rules will apply to end a game. The games will be played for 7 innings or 30 minutes.
ROSTER SIZE
Games are played with a roster size of 5 players. Players must be listed on the roster prior to the first game via registration.
SUBSITUTION
5 players must play each Monday. Please reach out through email to discuss substitutions if one team player can’t make a week.
EQUIPMENT
All players must use their own bat.
All players must use their own helmet. Helmets must be worn at all times in the cages.
Tennis or turf shoes can be used to hit, no cleats allowed at the facility.
PITCH SPEED
Pitching machines with different MPH determined by age will be used for the league.
High school players will feed each other, youth players must have a coach/parent feed the machine.
TIE BREAKERS
Sudden Death: Players will receive one AB on each team, the team that does NOT get a hit first, will lose. Teams can choose who starts the sudden death tie-breaker.
FINAL STANDING TIE BREAKERS
Tie Breaker 1- Most runs scored by a team in regular season play.
Tie Breaker 2- Team Home Runs in regular season play.
Tie Breaker 3- Coin Flip

REFUND POLICY
In order to be compliant with NCAA rules, please understand that any payment you make towards this clinic is non-refundable. Pete D’Amour Softball Camps unfortunately cannot offer credit to future Camps due to limited registrants and space. Please email softballcampsatvt@gmail.com for any conflicts or if you have any questions.
NCAA Bylaw 13.4.3.1.2.1 states that it is permissible for camps to be advertised towards a particular audience (e.g., elite camp), but advertisements or promotions must indicate that the camps are open to any and all (limited only by number, age, grade level and gender).
Pete D’Amour Softball Camps will follow all up to date Virginia Tech and VA Department of Health guidelines. Virginia Tech and NRV COVID numbers will be evaluated on a daily basis. If Covid-19 numbers significantly increase, camp could be postponed or cancelled. Campus Authorities will determine if and when changes need to occur.
