  • The 2021 Winter showcase Camp is for 2022 – 2026 graduates as well as current Junior College players looking to showcase their talents in front of The 2021 National Champion Wingate University Baseball Staff, MLB Scouts and College Coaches from various levels. Players will work exclusively with their positional coaches, learn offensive and defensive drills and techniques to improve their game along with a pro-style workout and modified scrimmage. This camp is a great opportunity to showcase your ability in front of some of the top programs in the region, learn more about Wingate University and what it takes to play college baseball. Past Schools in Attendance: ECU, UNCC, NC A&T, Gardner-Webb, St. Andrews, Brunswick CC, Louisburg College, and Patrick Henry CC
  • 12 Players on our 2021 National Championship Team attended one of our Showcase Camps while in high school!
  • Options for Registration Include:
  • Position Player Only
    Two Way – Position Player/Pitcher
    Pitcher Only
    Pitcher Only (Not throwing live during this time-will receive detailed instruction on mechanics/arm care/strength and conditioning)
  • Tentative Camp Schedule (subject to change based upon weather/number of camp registrants)
  • Check In/Registration – 8:30am-9:00am
    Opening Remarks/Introductions – 9:00am-9:15am
    Defensive Workout / Instruction / Stations – 9:30am – 11:00am
    Offensive Instruction / Stations / Batting Practice / Controlled Game – 11:00am – 1:30pm
  • Pitcher Only Check In/Registration – 1:00pm
    Pitching Workout / Stations – 1:30pm – 4:00pm
    (Mechanics Discussion / Arm Care / Proper Long Toss / Breaking Ball and Change up Development / Strength and Conditioning / Bullpen)
  • Per NCAA regulations, Wingate University Baseball Camps and Clinics are open to any and everyone, limited by age, and number of participants

Per NCAA regulations, Wingate University Baseball Camps and Clinics are open to any and everyone, limited by age, and number of participants.

Unless otherwise noted, our camps are not overnight camps. Players traveling
from out of town are responsible for securing their own accommodations.

Each camper should wear baseball uniform pants, colored socks or stirrups,
and a shirt, jersey, or warm-up for each session. Additionally, campers
need to provide their own glove, spikes/cleats, and tennis shoes (or turf
shoes). Catchers are expected to bring their own gear.

Additionally, any medical waivers and/or COVID policy paperwork should be completed and turned in.

All camps will run rain or shine and there is no rain date scheduled.
Players must bring appropriate footwear for any indoor activities i.e.
sneakers or turf shoes.

Registration will take place at the Wingate Baseball Concession Stand located at the top of the stadium near the tennis courts. Specific times for check in will be updated as needed.

There will be no cash refunds for cancelled campers. Camp credit will be offered towards a future Wingate Baseball Camp.

While water is provided for athletes, we encourage you to bring any additional food/sports drink that you’d like to stay hydrated.
